Bismillahir Rahamanir Rahim,
Allah Subhanwatala says in the Holy Quran:
“I have merely created Jinn and Man to worship Me.” (Qur’an, 51:56)
“He is the One who created you from clay, then destined a term. 1 The fixed term lies with Him, yet you are in doubt.”(Qur’an, 6:2)
[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving. (Quran, 67:2)
Allah says to Musa (A.S) in Sura Taha
Surely, I AM ALLAH. There is no god but Myself, so worship Me, and establish Salah for My remembrance. (14)Surely, the Hour (i.e. the Day of Judgment) has to come. I would keep it secret, so that everyone is given a return for the effort one makes. (15) (Qur’an, 20:14,15).
Allah is so merciful that that He addresses his messenger (PBUH) in the following ayah about His Servants :
Tell My servants that I am the Most-Forgiving, the Very-Merciful (49) And that My punishment is the painful punishment (50)(Qur’an, 15:49,50)
Narrated Mu’adh bin Jabal:
The Prophet said, “O Mu’adh! Do you know what Allah’s Right upon His slaves is?” I said, “Allah and His Apostle know best.” The Prophet said, “To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?” I replied, “Allah and His Apostle know best.” The Prophet said, “Not to punish them (if they do so).” (20 :14,15)
It is clearly understood that that our creator has a purpose for us to be in this world which is to worship Him alone. There are several verses in the Holy Quran which clearly state on calling upon Allah alone for help and remembering him alone. We have been sent to this world for a limited period of time to be tested, who among of us follow the commands of Allah and fulfill the obligations of Allah. That is to Worship none but Him alone and fulfill his commands.
