Does Imamat Logically Exist

Bismillahir Rahamini Rahim,

The topic of this post is pretty self explanatory on the content of this article. The most important question of all If this concept of the appointment of the Imam is so important and pivotal to Islam and its survival, how come nothing (absolutely nothing) has been mentioned about it in the Holy Quran? How come the Messenger of Allah (saws) never mentioned anything about this Imam and his seclusion? Did Allah and His Messenger (saws) forget to tell us about this very important aspect of Islam and its survival?Glory be to Allah! Allah and His Messenger (saws) did not forget anything that was needed for our guidance to Islam. If something is not from the Quran and Sunnah, then it does not form part of Islam and there is absolutely nothing in either the Holy Quran or the Sunnah about the Imam, his seclusion, about their succession, about their superiority, about their correspondence through ‘ilham’. These are their wishful fantasies and their whims, which have absolutely no basis and no evidence in the Quran! Can you imagine the deen of Islam being based on these kind of mythological stories ?

Nowhere does the Quran say anything about IMAMATE. To find this in the Quran, you have to go esoteric. Well, if you go esoteric, you can find Transformers on the Dark of the Moon. There is a reason why it takes volumes and volumes to explain the existence of the Imam, because it is not there in the Quran. One needs to twist it and turn it to arrive at the Imamate. Not any other pillar requires as much explanation and convoluted logic as does the pillar of ISMAILI PILLAR OF IMAMATE.Occam’s razor principle is that all things being equal the simplest explanation tends to be the correct one (or at least one explanation of the principle according to Wikipedia). The simplest explanation is that there is no Ismaili Imamat in the Quran. The simplest explanation for the ayah’s quoted is that they refer to the Quran which is the light/noor. Light is what guides people and the Quran has been referred to as a source of guidance in the 2nd ayah of the Surah Al-Baqara and many many other ayahs of the Quran. No need to go into the esoteric. That is the simple explanation.

Please watch this brief video for the explanation of Nurun Ala Nur (Light upon Light)

My dear brother, this Islam is the deen of Truth from Allah Subhanawatala and based on nothing but the Truth. Not some mythology story of a imam hiding in seclusion for years.Nothing in Islam is illogical, and this fantastic story of the Imam and does not have an iota of logic around it. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 27 Surah Al Naml verse 64: “Bring forth your evidence, if indeed what you say is the Truth” . What we do know is that the Holy Quran is the Book of Allah, which was revealed for our guidance. What we do know that is the Mohammed ibn Abdullah (saws) was appointed the Last Messenger of Allah. What we do know is that the deen of Islam was revealed in completion before the death of the Messenger of Allah (saws), and no changes are allowed in this deen. What we do know, is that to practice Islam, we only need to follow two things

1. The Holy Quran

2. The Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

If any Imam, Dai, Syedna, Bhaisaheb, Sheikh, Mullah, or Aamil, is guiding and teaching us from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws), you can be rest assured of true guidance and He is our brother in Islam. If anyone is guiding from any other source than the above two divine sources, you can be assured of misguidance and we leave them immediately and come back to the guidance and teaching of the Holy Quran and traditions of the Messenger of Allah (saws). These two sources are the only sources to learn Islam from. In the past, at present, and in the future until the Day of Judgment, Insha Allah. There will never be a third source.  This does not mean we should not read books of aalims and other knowledgeable persons who have studied the deen and are writing religious books based on their study of the Deen.

Allah says in the Quran:

And declare, “The Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. And falsehood is a thing that must by its nature, vanish!”

(Ch.17 Verse 81)

May Allah have mercy on the Ummah of Islam. May Allah guide and unite all the brothers and sisters who are gone astray from the straight path of Islam. Ameen.May Allah guide you and us all to the Straight Path of Islam.Whatever written of truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the only Source of Strength
